In my search for a new path of development that would guide me more systemically and less in terms of points, I came across transactional analysis. Above all, I wanted psychological knowledge that would help me work better, help others, make better decisions and understand myself better. Throughout the HR Master project, I got much more than that. Although I am not a psychologist, I found the constructs of AT easy to understand, interesting and above all useful. What was the content of the training is very businesslike and strongly useful when working with an organisation, not just an individual. Thanks to the concrete tools, I see certain situations more broadly and can view them from different perspectives. The added value was a fantastic group of HR women where we exchanged thoughts and experiences. One of the key tools I learned about was contracting. For me, taking care of the contract at every level of work is extremely revealing. I can see how the organisation I'm in is changing by starting to pay more attention to it. I have also found the knowledge associated with Susan Fowler's incentive system concept particularly useful. Three elements that distinguish the HR Master classes, which I have not encountered before and which give very high value, are firstly the regularity of the meetings (once a month) and each time it is two days of very intensive work, filled with knowledge, experience, reflection. Each module is linked to the next one despite the fact that they talk about something different and this very much systematises the knowledge. Secondly, at each meeting, thanks to the coaching work, we train the skills acquired at the previous conventions. Thirdly, the coaches ask what we have done in terms of AT since the previous meeting. I decided to learn transactional analysis with the Encounter Group thanks to recommendations from other people satisfied with the processes it runs. From my point of view, it was crucial to ensure that the planned goals were achieved, but also that the people who participate in these processes were happy and satisfied. For me, transactional analysis is like an onion. As you peel back the layers from the outside, you find that there are other layers underneath that are worth exploring and that we can have a real impact on. I finish with saturation, but also with openness and curiosity about what more transactional analysis will offer me.

The certified 101 training in Transactional Analysis was for me a reminder of the basics that I had learned during my studies. At the same time, attending the in-person meeting gave me a fresh perspective on some of its aspects regarding personality or modes of communication. Joanna Gosk took us through the entire basics of AT in a clear and accessible way, showing its many practical applications both in personal life and in relation to organisations. I will use the knowledge I have gained both as an HR Manager in an organisation and in my work with individual clients who are in a career change.

Joanna demonstrates all the competencies of a coach at the highest level: she teaches brilliantly, keeps an excellent eye on the setting and facilitates development and reflection brilliantly. Personally, I am particularly delighted that she puts into practice what she teaches. I felt treated like an adult and empowered in this :) I had a very comfortable feeling that there was room for everyone. Joan stands out for her outstanding knowledge and intelligence, which allows her to answer all questions in a flash and without giving away that there are too many. Wow. What an energetic effort this is! This flexibility and kindness towards the particulars really is rare. Joan embellished our training with stories from her life - fantastic interventions and so articulate and on the spot. Plus all the forms of sub-group work, thoughtful questions, valuable inspiration. I could go on and on... :)

On a daily basis, she is involved in recruitment processes in a Polish-American software house. I come to the training człam for both professional and private reasons. Transparent communication, self-awareness and attentiveness to the other człhing are important to me. My doubts before were whether I could cope with the material and whether I would be able to assimilate the knowledge in such a fast time. I also wondered how I would use the knowledge later in my daily work. I am a marketer and business coach by day. In my work it is crucial to understand people and the processes that take place in a group. Training 101 was one of the few training sessions that allows me to deepen my understanding of the group process, but also to understand the behaviour of individuals in the environment. The two days of online training were fruitful for me in terms of reorganising the knowledge I had from the literature, as a result of which I find it much easier to work in the room and also see people from a completely different perspective. I recommend it to everyone working with other czł people but also for ourselves - it really deepens our knowledge of how we react in certain situations (games).

I signed up for Training 101 with a view to expanding my coaching workshop and looking for new inspiration in the assumptions of Transactional Analysis, which I already partly knew and remembered as a very coherent and comprehensive approach. I was counting on refreshing my knowledge and some new points of reference to use privately, but above all on tools or techniques that I can use in my work with clients in coaching processes.
