This is the 54th edition of the renowned School of Transactional Analysis, which includes the opening, full-cycle certified 101 training and 7 further modules. Substantively it is exactly the same material as the modules in the online school.

What is the School of Transactional Analysis?

Programme

The entire 8-month cycle includes an opening, European or International Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA or ITAA) certified 101 training and 6 further classroom modules, delivered in the form of mini lectures, individual exercises, in pairs or smaller groups.

Community

Since 2007, more than 600 people have joined the alumni of the School of Transactional Analysis. Develop your practical knowledge in this area with us.

Experience

We are one of the first teams in Poland applying the knowledge and tools of Transactional Analysis to business. We have been teaching AT for over 18 years.

Why

Is Transactional Analysis important?

Quite a few people are looking for good psychological knowledge to be more effective at what they do. Managers, trainers, coaches - they are all looking for answers as to why people behave in certain ways. Most of them read a great many books in the field of psychology, go to training courses, complete various courses. However, apart from people who graduate from psychotherapy school, it is very common to hear complaints that it is difficult to put this knowledge together.

Transactional analysis for managers and coaches is primarily a concept of behaviour (states of Self), communication (transactions) and relationships (psychological games). The greatest resource of this concept is that all of these issues are coherently connected, so at the core of transactional analysis is the concept of personality. It is the underlying concept on which psychotherapists rely, and coaches sometimes use it.

It is because transactional analysis is also a personality concept that when we talk about behaviours and ways of building relationships, we see the different relationships. We also have the confidence that the actions we want to take are not the result of a random combination of different exercises, but because we have a good understanding of the essence of our behaviour.

The creator of AT, Eric Berne, failed his examination as a psychoanalyst. At the same time, he was so convinced of his understanding of the mechanisms of human behaviour that he not only created a strand called transactional analysis, but also made the requirement, rebelling against psychoanalysis, that AT was to be told in simple language that everyone could understand. AT is therefore not only a very coherent concept, but it is also easy to understand and tell to people who have no background in psychology. This is why it is so readily used in business, education and counselling.

You will benefit most from this solution if you are:

HR Specialist

You are looking for smart psychological training, explaining many of the behaviours and phenomena you face on a daily basis.

Coach

You want more effectiveness in the training room, new practical knowledge and you want to find more inner peace in your work as a trainer. You can achieve this by recognising different limiting ways of experiencing difficult situations.

Manager

You need to learn practical and understandable psychological knowledge that you can easily translate into managing your team.

Coachem

You want to complement your workshop with sound psychological knowledge and proven tools for use in individual work.

Is there another way?

Is there other the road?

Of course you do! You may continue to see repeated situations that do not lead to effective solutions, postpone your needs and development for later and guess at the real reason for the employees' behaviour or use the time and sign up for the full-time Transactional Analysis School. You decide!

I have been learning and using Transactional Analysis in my work for 14 years. I have also been teaching others for many years co-creating and as co-leader of several editions of the AT School and other AT-based trainings and workshops.

I have had the opportunity to learn from many prominent transaction analysts from around the world: including Sari van Poelie, Richard Erskin, Sue Eusden, Rosemary Napper, Birgitta Heilier, Alex Piotrowska, Tony White, Gregor and Masa Zvelc, John McNeel and others, attending international conferences and groups. I am currently preparing for the CTA (Certified Transactional Analyst) exam, culminating many years of study, practice and supervision.

People & Culture Specialist, PragmatIQ Kancelaria Prawna Szymkowiak
Before I decided to attend the School of Transactional Analysis, I was looking for tools to help me better understand myself in both professional and personal relationships. I wanted to name and analyse recurring patterns that, despite being aware of them, do not always serve me. I found it most memorable to work through my own examples, making each concept from AT gain real meaning. I was moved by the exercises on life positions and the moments when the group became a safe space to express something for the first time. Kasia's guidance was also tremendous, full of calm, warmth and clarity that made me feel safe. I appreciate Kasia for her ability to combine knowledge with a sense of humour and for being 'in the Adult' even in more difficult moments. The training gave me greater awareness and permission. I stopped working against myself and started to take sides. Professionally I feel more grounded and privately I feel calmer and closer to myself. The biggest value of this training for me was that I didn't have to 'step into a role'. I was able to be myself - with my questions, emotions and sometimes chaos. It was also valuable to meet another człhing who, like me, is searching, doubting, discovering and sharing himself honestly. In addition, everything we learned I could immediately relate to myself. It surprised me how much can be seen when someone asks 'the' question. Analysis through the prism of AT can be very pertinent, and it is possible to get to the bottom of it really quickly if we are prepared to see it. I was also surprised by how much the group can become a safe haven. I would recommend this training to anyone who works with people in HR, psychology, education or coaching, but also to anyone who wants to start 'reading themselves' with more mindfulness. This training not only gives you the knowledge, but also the courage to see yourself a little differently and maybe for the first time really consciously.

SENIOR HR SPECIALIST HR BUSINESS PARTNER
My first approach to Transactional Analysis Transactional Analysis was not a successful one. I reached for Eric Berne's book "What do people play?" and... it beat me :) However, this did not quench my curiosity. I kept searching for knowledge and forms that would allow me to understand and assimilate this knowledge, until, when I came across the Encounter Group. It's a real meeting place: with fantastic professionals, with other people in full respect of difference and a safe exchange of views and finally with myself. Yes, for me, Transactional Analysis is first and foremost a journey into myself. A bit different, gentle yet accurate and without damage. The training is structured in such a way that you can a step-by-step understanding of the złoconstructed AT construction at times as well as its internalisation. Working as an HR Business Partner, I meet a lot of people on a daily basis and my world is a world filled with relationships, interactions and games. Today I know what I I play, when and what others play. I can more easily and consciously face difficult situations. Knowledge of AT has also influenced my personal life. I have been seduced by the concept of "redecision", which, combined with the I was seduced by the concept of "redecision", which, combined with a good but not easy reading of my needs and those of my loved ones, that my immediate environment is filled with love and tenderness. AT's knowledge and experience accompany me in my everyday life because the effects of the implemented and applied even just some of the elements and constructs give tangible and beautiful effects

In my professional life I work in a variety of roles, from coach, mentor, trainer, sometimes also consultant, both individually as well as in groups. All roles require constant development, learning learning new things, unlearning what is unnecessary or even that is a burden. To accompany me in my development I always look for professional reliable partners to accompany me in my development. is definitely the Encounter Group. I started my journey with transactional journey with transactional analysis by participating in the 7-month School of Transactional Transactional Analysis School and after it I decided to deepen this knowledge in a second training process: Team Coaching. I am currently in the middle of it in the middle of it and I can only confirm - challenging, deeply developmental, plus in a friendly atmosphere. I am happy to have the opportunity to work with experts from areas that interest me, to do more and better for my clients.

Senior Consultant Sandler Training TWAROWSKI&PARTNERS
I work as a trainer and consultant on a daily basis and am responsible for developing sales departments. Many of the sales tools and mechanisms I teach are based on the assumptions of transactional analysis, hence my decision to better understand the foundations. I had some concerns about the online format of the classes being run, although I use this format myself, I know the commitment it requires. I was concerned that, as a participant, I would not be able to maintain my attention and commitment with this form of work. It turned out that my fears were unfounded. Kasia and Joanna's way of delivering the training guarantees complete weariness in the subject matter and 100% engagement. As part of the training we went through all the key issues related to AT (ego states, contamination, psychological games). What I particularly liked - the workshop format, the spaces for sharing experiences and self-reflection. After the training, I have a better understanding of other people's behaviour and my own reactions (both at work and in everyday situations), it is easier for me to identify manipulations, potential conflicts. In addition, AT has helped me to communicate better with others, enabled me to have a new perspective on my own development. If you have a need to improve your relationships (professional or personal), wonder why you react to certain situations or behaviours in certain ways, or just want to have a better life - AT is a pretty sensible choice! ????

If I have any real hobby, it is learning and asking questions. (...) Imagine a psychological laboratory where you take a chunk of knowledge about człhe human being under the microscope and piece by piece look at the constructs of theory under the microscope. You raise your head from above the eyepiece and discuss the findings with people who are as curious about this area as you are. You exchange knowledge, find practical applications, produce small doses of change in your attitude towards communication, relationships and, ultimately, yourself, and apply them in everyday life. You look at what works, how it works and what is still worth working on in a safe environment with professionals who have been moving long and efficiently in the AT laboratory. That's what the online AT School classes are like. It is a journey in the vehicle of curiosity, based on sound knowledge and the excellent workshop background of the presenters. It's a laboratory of knowledge about organisations, relationships, your own design. To enter the world of AT is also to join a community. It is a relieving experience to know that there are plenty of people for whom the view that you are ok and they are ok is the basis for functioning in the world. On a day-to-day basis I manage a company of several people, train and make public appearances. School is not the ring of Arabella - it hasn't changed my world. But it has definitely enriched my behavioural repertoire, in each of these areas of my professional activity. Along with these additional tools, I have also gained a personal sense of increased self-efficacy. This is a very good investment for anyone who is questioning, analysing, looking for effective tools to improve professional and personal functioning.

I found the threads on scripts, life attitudes and individual needs most valuable. Combined, they have allowed me to better realise my own potential and have greatly accelerated the process of getting to know and understand the person sitting on the other side of the table. Professionally, I use AT to explore organisations, naming patterns and possible contaminations within businesses to support them more effectively in achieving their strategic goals.

Attending the Encounter Group's Transactional Analysis School was one of the most important experiences on my professional path. I came to the school looking for new, effective tools that I could use to work with managers, intervening in organisations, supporting clients and companies in designing a change process. I had a lot of doubts about the non-standard, because virtual, form of learning, but a sincere conversation with the trainers of the Encounter Group, their great openness, giving factual answers and very transparent presentation of the programme and organisation of the school gave me the opportunity to verify my fears and make a conscious decision to participate in the AT school. The whole well-thought-out structure of the online school, the engaging form of teaching, the substantiality of the instructors only confirmed that it was a good decision. (...) I have undoubtedly enriched my personal development 'toolbox', which has influenced the quality of my relationships with myself and others. Professionally, I gained a very practical and simple set of tools to use in my work as a consultant designing development processes for leaders and change processes in organisations. The AT School gave me a great opportunity to feel the will and readiness within myself to work based on what is important and valuable to me in my contact with others, in developmental action with the group and the organisation.

HR Business Partner SECO-WARWICK S.A.
Before the training, I had heard a lot of good things about transactional analysis from my boss, a staunch supporter of this psychological theory. I had little idea of AT myself, but already the 101 training had proved to me what enormous benefits could be gained by exploring the constructs and tools developed by the creators of AT. It is as if I finally knewzła possibility to name what I deal with almost every day, in every relationship. It is an amazing discovery! During my studies at the School of Transactional Analysis, I learned a lot of interesting tools that I will be able to apply not only in my work, but also to analyse myself and the relationships I create and develop. The school is a huge mine of very practical knowledge! Is it worth it to start learning? Definitely yes! Thanks to the classes, I have had the opportunity to broaden my horizons and bolster my intuition with concrete psychological knowledge. (...) The trainers are perfectly at home in virtual reality and give you the space to test how you feel AT on your own skin. I have completed the AT School online and I can say that the sessions are conducted in a very effective way, with theory very much intertwined with practice. Professionally, I am involved in HR and I find the AT tools extremely helpful in building a constructive organisational reality.
